This is a used older hat pin and it is in excellent condition. It depicts either a turkey or a quail. I do not know which one! The bird is in a pine branch with 2 pine cones hanging down from it. The metal appears to be made of copper or white metal but I am no expert so don't quote me on its content, I am only guessing! It measures about 1" X 1" X 2" - Look!
