Acquired at an Estate Sale - This used lapel pin comes on the origional display card with the ledgend of the spike on the back of it. It commerates the last spike (which was made of gold) that was driven at Promontory Summit, Utah for the finish of the Transcontinental Rail Line from Nebraska to California.
