This is a used item acquired at an Estate Sale but looks in brand new condition! It measures about 3" in diameter and is colored blue with a yellow, white, and red insignia in the center. The emblem is for a bomber command that established and activated on 2/1/1942. It was redesigned as the Eighth Airforce on 2/22/1944 - This branch of the service commands and administers strategic aircraft, missiles, maintains Readiness and provides conventional forces to the theater commands.
